Practice chapter by chapter with NTA-pattern MCQs and integer-type questions.
Physics carries 100 marks in JEE Main (30 questions). High-weightage chapters include Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Mechanics (Rotation), Modern Physics, and Optics. JEE Advanced Physics demands multi-concept problem solving across all units.
Chapter-wise Physics mock tests following the NTA JEE Main pattern — 20 single-correct MCQs and 5 integer-type questions per test, with detailed solutions. All tests are free.
JEE Main Physics covers: Mechanics (kinematics, laws of motion, work-energy, rotation, gravitation), Thermal Physics (KTG, thermodynamics), Waves and Oscillations, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects, EMI and AC circuits, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, and Semiconductor Electronics.
High-weightage chapters: Electrostatics and Current Electricity (~15%), Mechanics — Rotation and Laws of Motion (~12%), Modern Physics (~10%), Waves and Optics (~10%), Thermodynamics (~8%). Electromagnetic Induction and Magnetic Effects together contribute ~10–12%.
JEE Advanced Physics is significantly harder and tests deeper conceptual understanding. It includes multiple-correct MCQs, integer-type questions, and paragraph-based problems. Questions require multi-step reasoning and often combine two or more chapters. Rigid body dynamics, Electromagnetism, and Modern Physics are tested with greater depth.
JEE Main Physics has 30 questions: 20 single-correct MCQs (+4/−1 marking) and 10 integer-type questions (attempt any 5, +4/0 marking). Total marks from Physics: 100 out of 300.
